What is PODVerdict?
A site that compares print-on-demand providers on Printify, Printful, Gelato and Printed Mint, product by product. Facts come from two places: public posts where sellers describe their sample orders (summarised and linked), and the providers' own published pages for locations, production times, prices and cut-offs. We don't test or measure print quality ourselves yet; real sample tests are coming.
Which products does PODVerdict cover?
7 products: Bella+Canvas 3001, Comfort Colors 1717, Gildan 18000, Gildan 18500, White 11oz Ceramic Mug, Matte Poster 18x24, iPhone 15 Tough Case. Each has a price table; seller sample reports so far cover the three t-shirt and sweatshirt blanks only, and Gelato prices are listed only where we have collected them.
What do the Seller report, Provider-stated and Public reviews labels mean?
Public reviews means a rating or theme from a public review site (Trustpilot) or the provider's own product-page rating, linked and dated. Seller report means the fact is summarised from a seller's public post, linked next to it. Provider-stated means it comes from the provider's or platform's own page and is what they claim, not something we have checked.
How do scores work, and why don't you show them yet?
We score per provider and per product, and only once a pair has at least 5 separate seller reports, so one bad order can't make or break a rating. No pair has reached 5 yet, so for now you see every raw report with its source.
Is PODVerdict free?
Yes. The site and the weekly email are free, with no account needed.
Do affiliate links affect the rankings?
No. Links to platforms and tools may become affiliate links, which would be marked as sponsored and could earn us a commission; featured spots are always labelled. Neither changes a provider's reports, order or score. See how PODVerdict works.
How do I submit a sample report?
Ordered a sample? Submit a 2-minute report with the provider, product and what you got. It's anonymous and helps the next seller avoid a bad batch.
How often are prices updated?
Prices are collected by hand from the providers' public catalog and shipping pages, and each row shows the date it was checked. We currently list 62 published base prices; anything not published publicly is shown as unknown rather than estimated. Always confirm on the source before ordering.
How do I pick a provider for the EU, UK or US?
Choose a provider that prints in or near your customers' region: shorter distance usually means faster, cheaper shipping and fewer customs surprises. Use the region filter on the providers page, then compare stated production times and shipping. Shipping rates differ by destination, so we show totals per destination only where both the product price and that shipping rate are published.
How should I choose a blank?
Start with the product your buyers want, then compare providers for that exact blank. Print quality varies by blank, not only by provider: a provider can print a Bella+Canvas 3001 well and a garment-dyed Comfort Colors 1717 less consistently. See best provider by product.
When are the holiday order cut-offs?
They differ by platform, provider and shipping method. See the 2026 holiday deadlines page, which lists each provider-stated date with its source and flags any that are still last year's.
